Building a foundation of wisdom, empathy, and civic responsibility in every American child.

Why K–12 Reform Matters

K–12 education is the moral and intellectual cornerstone of society. It shapes how young people see themselves, each other, and the world. Yet across the United States, students face inequality, outdated curricula, over-testing, and underfunded schools, leaving many unprepared for citizenship, leadership, or lifelong learning.

To create an America that can endure for centuries, we must reform K–12 education to promote critical thinking, civic literacy, emotional intelligence, and cultural competence while ensuring every child has equal access to opportunity.

Curriculum Inclusivity & Historical Honesty

Testing & Grading Reform

  • Replace overreliance on standardized testing with portfolio assessments, peer review, and oral defense models
  • Encourage states to de-emphasize test-based school funding formulas
  • Support districts that pilot competency-based learning with holistic rubrics

Implementation Strategy

  • Create a National K–12 Transformation Fund to support innovative states and districts

  • Launch interdisciplinary curriculum development centers in public universities
